A book overlapping our regional border has been issued. It is the first Catalogue of Hop Tokens ever. The author is Marek , a member active in the Chomutov Branch. However, to compile the catalogue he was provided a significant deal of materials by members of Louny Branch (see the catalogue for details). There are 256 pages (including 31 b/w pictures) in the catalogue and it comprises emitters from the following districts: Chomutov, Kladno, Litomerice, Louny, Melnik, Most, Plzen-sever, Rakovnik and Rokycany. The tokens the issue places of which are clear are sorted in alphabetical order according to their reverse sides while the issues of unknown origin are listed separately. In this catalogue you can also find the description of types and variants of the reverse sides. Unfortunately, there are images of just a few tokens. Moreover, those are black and white pictures of only one side of each token, which appears to be a demerit of the publication.

The essential part of the catalogue is the list of no more used geographical names in German with their Czech equivalents. Furthermore, there is the list of emitters (both private ones and organisations), paper hop tokens and finally English and German summary.

Thus, for the first time, this catalogue provides you with a chance to standardise cataloguing of your collection.
